Movement instructions that sound like poetry
Bring your attention to your head.
As you sit back, lower your head.
Let your head hang freely, without effort.
As you come forward, lift your head.
Here we go. So beautiful. So simple. Little does it reveal that I was frying my head over these few lines the entire month. AI was of little help. It kept correcting me like this:
Direct attention to your head.
As you sit back, allow your head to lower.
Your head hangs freely, without effort.
As you come forward, let your head rise.
AI didn’t seem to understand all my concerns. Maybe it would understand if it had a body, a body that can hurt, break, ache, suffer, hope, fear, cry, laugh, age, heal, shiver, jump, and fart… in order to produce empathic, precise, proprioceptive language.
On the upside, I had it produce a pet project that I’ve wanted to have since 10 years already – an audio player that can text-to-speech-with-pauses Feldenkrais transcripts. This allows me to listen to Feldenkrais transcripts without having to press the pause button myself. In fact, I can now choose exactly how long the playtime of a lesson will be, fancy fancy.
I’ve also been working on a markdown format for my own lessons, and an update for my website and study cards (which seemed to have stopped working.) So maybe that could serve as a fresh attempt on my own library, website, and maybe a teacher training (wishful thinking.)
On the downside, if I need an entire month to produce a 4-line stanza, how long will it take me to produce an entire story, let alone a library? 🤔
